Block-Keller House(circa 1912), a beautifully restored Neo-Classical style villa, is nestled under centuries-old live oaks on world-famous Canal Street, just a short streetcar ride from the French Quarter. In fact, we are right on the streetcar line – with direct access to St Charles Avenue, the Garden District, the Mississippi Riverfront and City Park. The bed and breakfast is abundantly, yet tastefully furnished with antiques from around the world, family heirlooms, ancestral photographs, and artifacts either left by former residents or collected by your hosts from their travels. All five guestrooms are furnished with antiques and reproductions along with queen and king size beds, private baths (some with whirlpool tubs), telephones with voice mail, wireless internet access, and cable TV.

The house is surrounded by gardens on all sides. The ancient live oak
trees literally embrace the house, their branches swooping almost to the
ground. The lush tropical foliage is interspersed with bright colorful flowers of each season. The sunken patio is the perfect place to enjoy a good book and a glass of wine as you watch streetcars lazily amble up and down Canal Street.
